SDG is one of the important rules in our daily life. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations are a comprehensive framework to address global challenges and create a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world. Learning about these SDG can offer several valuable insights to us.

This topic made me realize what SGDs are and how these SDGs can help our earth. Firstly, it teaches my brain to do a system thinking. Which fosters a systemic approach to problem-solving, encouraging us as a people to consider the broader implications of actions and policies on society, the environment, and the economy. Thus, these goals help me to be more aware about global awareness. It helps me grasp the pressing global issues that affect humanity, such as poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, access to education and healthcare.

Also, I do become more understandable on how business and corporate responsibility are conducted in SDGs ways. Because it includes promoting sustainable business practices, corporate social responsibility, and ethical investments, encouraging companies to align their operations with these global goals. SDGs also teach me about interconnectedness of issues. The SDGs demonstrate the interlinkages between various social, economic, and environmental challenges. Learning about these connections helps in understanding the complexity of these issues and the need for integrated solutions.

Other than that, especially of course as a student, these SDGs really help me in my studies. Because it also plays a role in terms of aspects of education and awareness. Learning about the SDGs can be used as an educational tool to raise awareness among people of all ages, fostering a mindset that values sustainability and social equity. It also helps us in critical thinking and innovation. Addressing the SDGs requires creative thinking, innovation, and collaboration across disciplines. Learning about them can inspire innovative solutions to complex problems.

For example, what brought me awareness in this aspect of the SDGs was that, when the lecturer asked the women students how many veils we had, and most of them were more than five. And from there I was able to learn that the hijab is a necessity but if the quantity is too much it is no longer a necessity but has changed to the will. And from there I realized that I needed to be careful in buying and look back at whether it's really what I need or not. This is for the sake of taking care of the environment and avoiding waste.

This SDGs also apply and emphasize Islam in it. Sustainable development is not a new concept to Muslims. The Qur'an and the Hadith provide the framework for the spiritual and physical welfare of humanity. There are over 500 verses in the Qur'an giving Muslims guidance on matters relating to the environment and how to deal with it.
