         <description><![CDATA[<p>Josepablo Soto</p><p>Reading 1: <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="file_preview_link previewable" href="https://experiencia21.tec.mx/courses/511169/files/193037717/download?wrap=1">Return of the 1950s housewife</a></p><p><br></p><ol><li><p>With the closure of schools and nurseries, the responsibility for child care falls once again on families and mainly on women.</p></li><li><p>Women take on more childcare duties, while men tend to work more overtime.</p></li><li><p>This triple load women are carrying may exacerbate the high levels of stress that mothers are already at risk of – along with other mental health issues.</p></li><li><p>This is also a time for couples to have an honest conversation about who is doing what – and how things can be made fairer.</p></li><li><p>Employers may also need to be realistic about what working parents, and other workers, can do at this point.</p></li><li><p>Society still thinks that women should take care of the home and care, while men should focus on making money.</p></li></ol><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Josepablo Soto parents:</p><p><br></p><ul><li><p><strong><em>What do they think about the information you learned? </em>As a working woman, I feel that the comments that gender roles are very marked by society and many people still think that way.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong><em>Is the gender inequality situation true for our society, for our home?</em> I consider that today gender inequality is no longer so noticeable, but it still exists in many homes.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong><em>Is there anything you as a son/daughter can do to ease the burden or reduce the work load? </em>Yes, helping with domestic work so that it is no longer a burden for my parents in addition to their work.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong><em>What did you learn from talking to your parents? </em>From the interview I did with my parents, they learned that in our house there is almost no gender inequality, because both have their obligations and help with household chores.</strong></p></li></ul>]]></description>
