The Bajau Samah of the West Coast are also known as the Cowboys of the East or as the local said 'Koboi Sabah' because of their excellent horse riding skills.

Although the Bisaya tribe is said to be related to the Visayan tribe in the Philippines, it has only been found in Malaysia, specifically in the states of Sabah and Sarawak on the Island of Borneo.

They are also known as The Lundayeh in Sabah, with their ancestors said to have migrated from The Kalimantan.

This community are also well-known for their beadwork, with the costumes often showing off some of their finest creations.

The women's hair is pulled back in a neat bun and decorated with a Titimbok (a multi-colored floral headpiece), Sisingal (a thin band of beads tied together around the forehead), and Rampai (a hairpin with two or three rows of folded pieces of colourful cloth strung together and floating down to the nape). Then, Pinakol and Sopilang are worn crosswise as Rungus women's body decorations.

The sleeves are tucked in and split to the elbow level revealing the sleeves on the inside in contrasting hue. The shirt's hem has also been adorned with Betawi buttons.

The Bajau women also wear an unusual headgear called Sarempak, a two-piece headpiece made of gilded silver or modern substitute and shaped like a ship. Small ornaments dangling down from both ends of Sarempak are called Garigai, The Bajau women also wear a variety of jewellery. They have bracelets made of silver, as well as gold and silver earrings. They also have a belt called Ingkot Pangkang, which was often made of silver metal in the past.

The attire is also accentuated by a scarf worn over the shoulders and a handkerchief with tassels on the sides.

All in all, this style of clothing serves to emphasize the beauty and culture of the Bajau people.

The sleeves are occasionally embellished with Betawi buttons as well.

The portion of the shirt in the opposing colour is visible when the sleeves are separated up to the elbows. Traditionally, this Badu is worn to weddings. In addition, Bajau males often wears black trousers, or Suart, during the wedding ceremony; on other times, they will wear color cons.

In addition, this Bajau guy covers his head with a Tanjak hat. Ground cloth that has been fashioned and worn during wedding rituals, for the equestrians, they commonly refer to this Tanjak as Podong.

Similar to ethnic women, men too wear belts known as Ingkot rank. They also wear an embroidered scarf for ornamentation. Furthermore, they use Puyut, which doubles as a scarf or waist tie.

Supu jewellery was also utilised by Bajau men in the past. This Supu is an ornament that can be used to hold leaf cigarettes or gourds.

Since most Bajau men in the past were courageous warriors, they also wear jewellery in the form of Pida and daggers. The Keris, Pida, and long sword are regarded as symbols of ethnic bravery.

✿ The head part has an accessory called 'Pisanggul' which is attached to the hair bun. Its shape is inspired by the shape of a buffalo horn and is usually decorated with flowers to beautify it.

✿ On the forehead, another accessory is placed which is 'Sarabang' made of silver. Sarabang is worn according to the shape of both sides of the eyebrows.

✿ Around the waist there is an 'Aut Ringgit', used to make it easier to wear a scarf/sash.

✿ 'Kotol' is worn as a neck decoration, also made of silver.

✿ On the body, 'Sawit' accessories or sashes are worn crosswise.

Pocketless, three-button split chest. At times, a sarong fabric is worn over the shoulders to complete the look. Sarongs are worn instead of trousers when attending official events such as traditional rituals.

The clothes used feature a prominent colour, such as black.

In addition to shirts (Bhadhu) and trousers known as Masap and Marabulu, Rungus men use woven trousers (Suval Inavol). Woven trousers are only used during certain ceremonies and rituals. Men's woven shirts (Bhadhu) include high-value themes. The price is high due to the height of the motif art and the quality of its weaving, as well as customs and taboos associated with weaving and wearing it.

Traditional Iban attire comes in two different kinds; one for males and another for ladies.

Traditional Iban dress for men is referred to as "Baju Burung," and traditional Iban apparel for ladies is known as "Ngepan Iban."
