I'm interested in having a social services degree in order to be able to work in child protective services. I believe that studying sociology will help me understanding better the parents or caregivers of the children and what they do what they do. It can also allow me to see the bigger picture in why and how parents act depending in the circumstances that they are going through. Sociology might help me understand how the world around me works in a deeper way. I would be able to see the changes we have made as a society and how it had influenced me. And based on those influences I would be able to make my own decisions.
