His style of clothing was a symbol of different gender norms and sexuality between men and women. His style helped form new faces in music to expand on his concept he was trying to say to the people. His style was inspirational to the people who saw his type of clothing he was wearing during his performances.

Freddie Mercury or his birth name, Farrokh Bulsara, was born in Zanzibar in September 5, 1946. He was influenced by Jimi Hendrix. That lead Mercury  to start singing in bands In London. He sang with a band named Smile which Mercury soon became friends with the band. Later the lead singer of the band Smile left and Mercury took his place in the band and changed the name to Queen. By early 1980s the band became an international phenomenon. By 1991 Mercury announced that he was diagnosed with aids and one day after he died from complications from the disease. Freddie Mercury made a song called Bohemian Rhapsody that made the band Queen famous. People listen to the music ever since the song came out. Bohemian Rhapsody was Queen’s greatest hits, people in Iran were the first to hear the song. He made the song that will reflect on his sexuality and what he had to face in his personal life.
