Source E is about the author's attitude towards the war. It is written by Romain Rolland, a French writer. He thinks people who have never witnessed a war wouldn't understand what a war could bring to people.

Source A, is about the reaction to the outbreak of world war 1, then people from Saskaswachewan were told that war ended, they got very exited and happy about it. They were celebrating it, also there were no longer colonised by Britain. Even people who were overseeing and recruitment were cheering for people who came back.

Summary: So, basically the author says , that people don't understand and know what war actually is. And also he says , that the newspaper is just lying to our faces . By this reaction on the news article , we can guess , that the news paper is saying not true information. And our theory , that the author of this document participated in a war, by saying this phrase " The people are blinded , absolutely blinded, as to what war means".

Answer to question:
We can say , that the author became really sensitive to that article. Maybe even angry or aggressive. And we totally agree with author. In our opinion we can fully understand , if you didn't feel on your self.
