-There was a new parent that was worried about his child. The child has attended another preschool for a few months but he refused to go to school to the extent that he will throw a tantrum every morning when he sees the uniform. His dad was worried about this as the child was a toddler and wasn’t able to speak yet so when he started coming to our school, his dad would often call the teachers to check on him. With constant communication with the father and the child showing willingness to put on his uniform and coming to school, his dad’s call to the teachers lessen. Currently, his dad trust the teacher and would often ask the teacher to tell his child something as his dad said that the child listen to the teacher more.

Aisyah
-She was new in the centre and the parent did not trust her at first. The parents keep on finding fault. 
-She started to update them on a daily basis even minor issues. She realized that the parent was quite particular. She also find out the the son was adopted. She's more tactful towards the parents and update them regularly.

Betty Lim
-She has a student who always cry when she goes to school. The child was under grandmother's care. Betty talked to the grandmother and she found out that the child always sleep late at night. She communicated to the grand parent and agreed on some arrangements. After that the child was already comfortable going to school.

Resa
-She was a new teacher in her centre, the parents did not know her yet. One parent gave her a hard time dealing with her child by keep on finding fault and demanding some special arrangements on her. She kept her patience and gave the parent constant updates. Over the time.

Communication strategies:
1.Daily updates, even on small issues
2. Small talks during dismissal
3. Sharing of discipline/ routine strategies with the parent.
4. Sharing websites and video clips that can be useful for their areas of concern.

Parents took charge of the project. They came up with ideas and plans on the design of the planting racks, safety concerns, the cost and etc. There is a lot of communication, trial and error, collaboration and teamwork involved throughout the process. Teacher also provides pictures and photo evidences to support the child's learning development. The parents are very supportive of the child's progress and give rewards such as going out on weekends.

Told mummy about her 10months old child have been bitting classmate for the whole week. That he is almost all his classmate have been bitten by him. Mummy ask me the reason why he has been doing that. Told her maybe he is very defensive. Teacher told mummy to work on talking to him everyday remind him bitting is wrong.
