We need better screenings to enter PreK, other than the home language survey, often times one parent speaks Spanish, but Spanish is not spoken at home.  I will be willing to donate my time to make a better screenings.  I have 6 students that only speak English right now.  I heard that the screening was a 1 in English  and 1 in Spanish... reality is that this kiddos only speak English.  When we have this, kids misbehave and are a distractions for the other students' learning.
