Dear Bad PetCare

On December 20th, 2024, I took my dog, a Carolina Dog by the name of Buck, for examination. This examination was because an abnormal lump or a cyst on the skin of his leg had formed. I had been alarmed by this new abnormal formation in his skin, so I decided to take Buck to an appointment at one of your business’ locations. At the appointment, you had taken X-rays and other procedures to accurately know what had caused this cyst.

A week later, once you had completely interpreted the results, me and Buck went back into Bad PetCare to receive the information needed. A Doctor by the name of Spitz had greeted us with a grim face. He told me that my beloved dog had a cancerous tumor stuck in his leg and will spread throughout the body. Terrified, I asked how I could get it removed from Buck. He had told me that the best option for my dog was the Good PetCare hospital.

I had scheduled my appointment as soon as possible. On January 5th, 2025, The surgery was performed. The surgeon had removed the cyst and indicated it was not cancerous but a benign tumor. The false information that was given to me by Dr. Spitz had resulted in 1700 dollars being paid at a different hospital. I had felt betrayed by this unprofessional behavior. I want my $600 back from the appointment and biopsy I had scheduled with your company because I had been given false information by a representative of your company whether there had been a problem in the equipment or there had been a lie or devious scheme of where I was the victim.

Sincerely, David Giaramita, Payne Jr. HIgh School.

Dear Bad PetCare,

Recently on December 20th, 2023, my dog Buck received a biopsy from you to examine a cyst on his leg. The cyst was identified by Dr.Spitz as a cancerous mast cell tumor that needed immediate removal. Your veterinarian office did not perform this removal so I went to Good PetCare.

At Good PetCare they performed the $1,500 surgery to remove the tumor and placed a cone of shame on Buck that insulted his honor and hindered his ability to run in the desert as he so loves to do. I also had to spend $200 on painkillers and antibiotics for him.

After a lab analysis of the tumor it was revealed that the tumor benign without cancer. I was given inaccurate results from Dr.Spitz and your veterinarian office. I am offering a fair solution to this injustice. I would like a full refund for your inaccurate biopsy and a refund for the visit to your office, which totals at $600. Because of your inaccurate results I had to spend an additional $1500 dollars on the surgery to remove the tumor.

I had to miss three days of work which totals to around $500 lost. I would like a reimbursement for my time missed from work and for you to cover the entire cost of the surgery. It would be fair if you also covered for the painkillers I had to provide to Buck and if you checked what went wrong with the biopsy to make sure this injustice does not occur to any other hard working customers. You should consider firing Dr.Spitz if he was the reason for the inaccurate results to avoid further conflicts.

        Thank you for your consideration,

                            David Giaramita

This made me feel that nature is more beautiful when nothing is fighting and everything is calm. They made me feel like I was in a fever dream because it’s so unusual that someone in a suit would be standing next to an animal usually known as dangerous. I do feel some cruelty though It’s very sad that the animals were hunted, cut up, and stuffed just to make a picture. I feel like the author's intent was to show how beautiful animals are when they aren’t fighting but it portrayed a different picture to me. The pictures felt a bit disturbing because of the animals' severed heads or them being stuffed. The pictures would be much more beautiful with alive animals that aren’t cut into pieces because when you see the dark truth behind the pictures they aren’t beautiful anymore.

The photographs made me feel as if they were fake, probably because my brain wanted it to be for whatever reason. The pictures have an aroma of thoughts around them such as: What is that person doing with that animal? What happened to the animals? Was this photo shopped? Are the animals alive? The photographer probably had the intent of showing how the hunters felt about killing the animals and the pride for themselves that is taken with it. The hunters probably agreed to being photographed because they wanted to be able to show off their achievements and feel even more proud of themselves. On the other hand, there was some tribal and more primitive wear on the hunters. There is a possibility that they had wanted to convey different messages to people around the world. One of those possibilities is that they may have just wanted to share their culture with the world.

Tribute to the Dog

George Graham Vest (1830-1904) served as U.S. Senator from Missouri from 1879 to 1903 and became one of the leading orators and debaters of his time. This delightful speech is from an earlier period in his life when he practiced law in a small Missouri town. It was given in court while representing a man who sued another for the killing of his dog. During the trial, Vest ignored the testimony, and when his turn came to present a summation to the jury, he made the following speech and won the case.

Gentlemen of the Jury: The best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it most. A man's reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us, may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads.

The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog. A man's dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master's side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer. He will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounters with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings, and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens.

If fortune drives the master forth, an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him, to guard him against danger, to fight against his enemies. And when the last scene of all comes, and death takes his master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by the graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws, his eyes sad, but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even in death.

George Graham Vest - c. 1855

Anascorp is a premium drug that costs a hefty bill, only being produced in Mexico. Other hospitals in the area charge large sums of money for the drug as well. Anascorp was only a part of the cost of her visit. It also costs money to hire doctors, and the immediate need makes doctors more expensive.

The physician that informed Marcie about the antivenom was trying to save her life from her allergic reactions. There was no time to inform Marcie about the price of Anascorp without a chance of nappy-nap. We knew that Anascorp was necessary for the poor Ahwatukee woman with a serious venom rushing through her veins. Chandler Regional Medical Center’s number one priority is to save their customers and keep them alive.

This is since Frank’s new power was so exhausting since the decisions he had to face came a hundred fold. This makes other people jealous, making them try to take advantage of you creating more and more anxiety and decisions.

The theme of the video is that winning the lottery ticket could ruin someone’s life. People would all want the money, and that person’s life would be dominated by the topic of millions of dollars. An average person would do horribly with the money, and the stress would control their life. Passively earned money brings in a new lifestyle that destroys most people. One hundred million (I know I am supposed to only spell ten down) dollars can be more negative than positive on someone’s life with all the newfound stress that comes with it.

This video has many different purposes. First, I think the author is trying to get the message to people who spend a lot of money on lottery tickets or other ways of gambling to show that even if you win, life is not automatically perfect. The person who made the video added miniature symbols that have actual importance. For example, the winner is a middle-aged man with an office job which gives off the symbol that he is the average person. The author is making an argument that the lottery or sudden money might cause more stress and problems than it takes away.

There are multiple places in the Onion news story that are meant to have a deeper meaning and be humorous. For example, they suggest the idea of cutting out the politicians and just paying the public. This theory is so absurd and obviously illegal that it is funny. Another joke is the one at the end about making corporations in charge, or having logos to represent the president. One of the men says,”I personally respond to logos and I would love to have a president that’s identified more by a logo, like a shape, you know. Like some sort of amorphous blob.” Just the thought of a blob running a country is insane and hilarious. The truth in the video is how ridiculous and messed-up that politics is.
