In Saudi Arabia, you can find foods from all over the world. The native Arabic food, however, consists of foods such as shawarma, mandi, chicken rice and many breads. They also have American fast food like McDonald's, KFC and Starbucks. There isn't pork there, but there is lamb, beef, and chicken. She usually eats at home, and her mom cooks Chinese cuisine.

People in Saudi Arabia traveled far and wide everywhere to find food and water but struggled due to the desert lands. As a solution, they began to ride camels for transportation. Camels don't need much food or water, and they can last for long periods of time without them. Saudi Arabia was poor until 1948 when oil was discovered under the ground. Then, Saudi Arabia used the newfound resource to gain money and increase wealth.

IIn Saudi Arabia, all women must wear black clothes called "Abaya" that cover their whole body. Also, Muslims must wear a head cover called a "hajib". In fact, some Muslims also cover their face and eyes! Even though, women still can wear heavy makeup and fashionable clothes under their Abaya. Men can wear whatever they want to, which shows gender inequality in self-expression. There aren't theaters, but it is allowed to watch movies in personal dwellings. Music follows the same rules as movies do, none in public only in personal spaces. The most popular sport is soccer, but many gyms don't allow women to enter, so women mostly exercise at home. The most famous person in Saudi Arabia is the king, as his pictures are everywhere.

In Saudi Arabia, most locals are of Muslim religion. There are many mosques spread across the towns. Muslims use Arabic writing to decorate mosque, and. there are no pictures in mosques. This is because, in the Muslim religion, Muhammad doesn't want his followers to worship anyone other than Allah. In Middle East, most people speak Arabic, as it is the holy language of Islam. Traditional Muslim houses are made using architeture such as domes, arches and geometric patterns.

The climate, weekends, traditional food, history, religion, language, architecture, clothing, entertainment, and gender equality are each very different.
