We found the time of our local noon at our location.
We took a one-meter ruler and placed it vertically to the ground and with the help of a gnomon and a measure tape, at the time scheduled to conduct the experiment, the students measured the length of the ruler's shadow. The measurement was repeated 5 times and the values were written down.
We submited our data in the "Eratosthenes Experiment".
We learnt a lot, worked as scientists and had a lot of fun :)

Here we are on the 21st of March, on the spring equinox day in a football field. Waiting for the sheduled time to make our measurements and hoping for the clouds to let the sun shine
I collaborated again with the teacher of Geography. This time we also had a matching school from Romania.
