         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros: Math is often one of the hardest contents to learn in a disruptive model. With an Enriched classroom students would have the ability to work at their own pace with a fully interactive curriculum and still be in the classroom getting support from the teacher. Students will receive instant feedback on performance. <br>Cons: Students who are apathetic will struggle to be responsible. Relying on a curriculum to teach materials instead of the teacher. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Flex learning pros- students that need less distractions would do well with this setting. Flex also seems like it could provide timely feedback the students would need. Flex learning cons could perhaps seems like it's not very hands on based and Flex could be a difficult change from the classroom. Students' engagement would be difficult to see and assess.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros: Mirror use of technology in "real world," &amp; go at the speed of our students' world. It allows for anytime/anywhere learning &amp; more differentiation.  Quakertown saw increased achievement &amp; reduced dropouts.<br>Cons: It's a big shift &amp; would require community buy in I think. Video states it requires quality staff PD or attempting it is a waste of money. It seems it would require a lot of motivation &amp; self discipline from students.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros: This model is familiar to me and I assume many teachers. Commonly, we provide individual help as needed during assignments. However, the benefit of a plan such as this is the students can move at their own pace and go back to see the lesson again for an automatic reteach. If an assignment takes longer, students are given that time instead of all students being expected to be on the same assessment at the same time. <br>Cons: Especially in the beginnnig, there may be too many students in need of help for an instructor to be able to effectively get to them in a timely manner. One fear about "self paced" is that students will fall behind and then stay behind. This model would require a purchased comprehensive resource to allow teachers the time to analyze student data, plan interventions, and meet with students. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I agree with several of the comments posted here.  For instance one pro is that many students could work at their own pace and would not be slowed down by the one classroom pace used in most classrooms. The con to that is that are that the change could have an impact on the unmotivated learner. But, that is a problem today anyway so it's worth the risk.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pros: This method includes adaptive learning and works well for many different skill levels and kids can go at their own pace if they are fast learners and/or have more time if they need it. <br>Con: Students may go to inappropriate internet sites and/or try to share answers  with each other through their computers like e-mailing or instant messaging. Of course, there will always be those kids who do very well, and those who choose not to use time wisely. Teachers can be helpful in keeping kids engaged and giving them the human contact they still need. </div>]]></description>
