She never really talked to me when I would try to talk to her and she had her people and wouldn't really ever expand her group. Last year she was in a lot of my classes and we got really close. We both really matured over the years so we were like totally different people. Once I really got to know her she was really nice and I really got to know who she was. Know she is one of my best friends. 

How does this relate to my theme?

This shows that people might seem really mean and noninclusive on the outside but they might just be shy and scared to have new friends. Our moms knew each other before and so we knew of each other but hadn't ever met. When I met her she was super nice. She always had a smile on her face and was a positive light. We were close in 6th grade but we weren't best friends. She was probably the one I knew the best though. She didn't ever include me in anything but I just thought it was because we weren't that close. We had gotten closer over the 7th grade year. I feel like as I got to know her better she got meaner. She turned out to be not very nice. Everyone thinks shes nice because that is how she is in front of adults and people she doesn't know that well. Once I really got to know her she was really rude and just puts me in a bad mood when I am around her. We aren't close anymore but we have mutual friends so we see each other sometimes and in the hallway. 

How does this relate to my theme?

This shows that people aren't who they look like on the outside. Someone can be really nice to people she doesn't know and around adults but she can be really rude and hurtful. She would avoid me in class and I would ask to be her partner in different activity's and she would find someone else or make an excuse. I wasn't rude to her or anything so I had no clue why this was happening. I was new to Prosper and I was just trying to make friends. She continued to be rude to me for the rest of the year and then we left for COVID. I had no classes with her in 6th grade and then whenever 7th grade rolled around I had almost every class with her. Over the year and a half we really matured and I talked less and she was nicer. We got really close and we sat together in almost every class. 

How does this relate to my theme?

This shows that people are not what they always seem. Someone can be really rude, but they just haven't matured and gotten to know who you are yet. Never judge a book by its cover.
