This website is an article about the history of Ford Motor Company Inc. It talks about how Ford started very small and grew from there. I liked that the article wasn't too lengthy and you can easily read it. It also had a lot of helpful dates throughout the text. It spans information from about 1903-1945, which is also helpful.

http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/ford-motor-company-incorporated

This is a photo of workers in the factory. The employees are using the assembly line method to make the cars. There are workers all in a line doing the same job for every single car. With this method they are able to work on building multiple cars at once. This allowed them to make a ton more cars each day to sell to customers. All of the cars being built are sitting on a conveyer belt. They move across the belt in order to give all of the employees easy access to the car to perform their task for the day.
http://americainclass.org/sources/becomingmodern/machine/images/text3s1sm.jpg

This is a magazine for the Model T that was published on October 1st, 1908. This article explains how the Model T is considered the worlds most influential car of the 20th century. This automobile was the first car ever to help middle class Americans travel around and it was also inexpensive so many people could afford it. Henry Ford was also the first person to use the assembly line to create an automobile and this helped connect people to each other and helped kick start a new era of human life. The article shows that the car is only 850 dollars meaning it was affordable for many Americans to own. This car was also a five passenger car so it was easy for many people to travel, rather than just one. I think this article is helpful in seeing the process of the car because it shows a picture of what the car looks like and this can help readers see how the car has developed throughout the years.
http://henryford-jtamprojectweek.weebly.com/primary-sources.html

This shows that people and customers thought very highly of the company. It states that they have about 68 bonafide orders for the car. This is considered to be more than all the other car dealers in Baltimore combined. It also says that the car is a five passenger touring car. The model T is only $850, and is worth the money.
https://i.pinimg.com/736x/4d/05/7d/4d057d1fb2f7e05e02a0b6423105eda1--ford-vehicles-ford-motor.jpg

Henry ford and his team at Highland Park assembly plant launched the worlds greatest contribution to manufacturing, the first moving assembly line. The assembly line allowed for workers to perform one specific step of the process and send the car down the line. This revolutionized production and dropped the assembly time for a single car from 12 hours to about 90 minutes. By using the assembly line, this allowed Ford to be able to drop the price of the Model T from $850 to less then $300. Bringing the product to the worker instead of moving various teams of workers to the product became the idea that overhauled the manufacturing industry as a whole. A new standard had taken over making it possible to generate more products and greater income through mass production. With this new method of mass production being spread all throughout the US, It was now easier to produce weapons and stuff in the time of WWII, helping us to win the war. Ford also made the "$5 workday" raising the base pay of plant workers from $2.34 for a nine hour day to $5 for an eight hour day, which allowed his employees to buy cars. His high wages helped to pressure other companies to raise wages for workers. Without a doubt the moving assembly line, as it applied to the automotive industry, represented a monumental advancement in production capabilities and potential earnings. The Model T helped to shape the cars we see in society today. It was one of the first cars, as Ford continued to make improvements on the model, it sprouted into different models, many of them similar to what we see today.
