The week before Thanksgiving break and this week we worked on simplifying expressions using order of operations. This week the students were able to describe key attributes of a coordinate plane, describe the first number in an ordered pair, and describe the x and y axes. Next week we will apply that knowledge to generate a number pattern when given a rule and graph that data on a coordinate plane.
