In my opinion, the easiest to read has been “The three strangers and Other Stories”. The book "Sense and Sensibility" is a classic book and I liked it. The book "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time" was very difficult to read to me because it uses expressions and phrases that I haven't listened before. I'm also going back to see the TV serie "House" that I had seen a few years ago.

During the course I have attended different corners of conversation . This activity was organized by the EOI.
In them, in small gropus with Joan, we could talk about different subjects (art, sports, literature, TV,...). It was a way to be able to speak English in a relaxed way outside classroom. This activity was organized by the EOI for all students.
Students are grouped according to language. Then we formed a small groups. 
During the activity we should find
and photograph differents architectural elements in monuments and houses of Cornellà.
Finally, we did a rol play  which a principal character of a story was killed and we had to find a killer and his/her reasons for killing him.
It was a different and very fun activity and I talked English a lot!

I went to a conference  ina April with my colleagues about a new stroke therapy. They presented virtual reality systems for the rehabilitation of patients with brain damage or coma.
Speakers who participated in the conference were Austrian and French. They presented the results of their studies and experiences .
Language used was English, without simultaneous translation (Oh my God!!!)
It was difficult for me  but, thanks to the powerpoint which  was written in English, I could be understood quite well.
At the end of the event, they greeted everyone.  I was able to understand what they  was saying me. I thanked them for  the conference that I found really interesting.

At the beginning of this course, Alun returned to the EOI to collaborate with our teachers. During that time, we met some times to speak in English while having coffee.
Two months later,  Alun went to work out of Barcelona  but we kept in touch. We sometimes send messages, which helps me  read and write and therefore improve my English.

I am a teacher  at the University. My students must do a research work on physiotherapy techniques. They should search databases for articles that talk about the topic they have chosen.
All those articles must be in English.
When they send me their works, they must attach those articles. I must read them to know if they correspond to the topic that they have chosen.  Also , they must  meet  the obligatory selection criteria.
I must read 67 articles (OMG!). There are clinical trials or systematic reviews.
The  scientific language is not very difficult for me but if I want to know the details, I have to use a good dictionary  :(

During the course we had to do a final tasks. One of them was to do a survey on a topic we had chosen.
For this task we should do surveys to other people. Some of them should be recorded on video.
With the results obtained we made a poster and some graphics.

We are preparing the trip for several months. Gemma is  responsible for booking airline tickets and hotel in Dublin.
I'm looking at travel guides about Dublin. We can visit the most important places in the  days that we will be  there.  We want to see the most important monuments of Dublin and, of course, we must go to Temple Bar, the most famous pub in Dublin. All  travelers who visit Dublin must visit to it!

I found them interesting and I decided to see these films  at home. In VOSE, of course. 
One day on TV they released the movie "Some like it hot". I was curious to see it because this film  is a classic movie. I had a good time although they spoke a little quick and it was difficult to follow them (in VOSE, of course).
