         <description><![CDATA[<p>This aligns with how I like to talk about with students how the problem makes them feel before they have to actually do it. </p><p>I would love to talk about how the environment and science intersect with math and our emotions. </p><p>Some barriers are that the teacher talked for a long time. My students have trouble focusing for that long. I would include more checks for understanding and make her intro more interactive. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>1) An aspect of this practice that I would like to align with my current pedagogy is talking with my students about their feelings upon learning something new in class or the book/topic we will discuss in class. </p><p><br/></p><p>2) I would like to implement talking with my students about complex emotions. </p><p><br/></p><p>3) The main barrier to implementing this practice is the curriculum; it does not allow for it. I am currently thinking about how I can weave it into my work with students. </p>]]></description>
