I recently got back from a short but remarkable trip to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. We arrived there with my friends on Friday evening so the city was very crowded and busy. The first impression of this place was pleasant yet very surprising. The strangest thing was people on bicycles in winter - there were so many of them! Christmas lights and decorations made the city look incredibly cozy and somehow close to heart. However, I was really happy and excited to finally be in Amsterdam despite the cold and heavy snow.

There are plenty of things you can do in town. Personally I loved just wandering the streets and walking by the canals because the city is very scenic. I also went to Van Gogh Museum which I absolutely enjoyed and would recommend. I heard many good reviews on Anne Frank House and Rijksmuseum but unfortunately no tickets were left for me and my friends to go there. It’s worth to see/seeing the Dam Square or Museum Square because of the Royal Palace and the architecture. The only drawback of this trip was the weather so I’d suggest you going/go there when it’s warmer if you want to be outside more.

To sum up, this city was one of my favorite places. Art museums, galleries, architecture and relaxing lifestyle will be perfect for someone who is into arts, just like me. I will definitely go back there just because of utterly wonderful views and really friendly and helpful people.

Thank for using utterly:) Great work except for 2 minor mistakes and punctuation. 10

This past summer, my best friend and I visited Crete. Now when I think about it, it's just breathtaking. We ?have ( are you still dreaming? if not past tense should be used /had? dreamed about this trip for a good bit of time and it was absolutely worth it from the very ?begging? to the very end. We fell in love with Crete for many reasons, some are very obvious like the fantastic weather and fabulous beaches. But we also love Crete because of its warm, welcoming and friendly people, its Cretan diet filled with fresh home grown foods and its laid back way of life. I know I throw the word 'love' a lot on here, but I have to admit I fall ?i? love with places easily. The hospitality in Greece ?has been/was? another level, a certain type of friendliness that I don't think ?I've/'d? come across before. The pace of life is slower there, people take their time, there's never a rush. And if you are in a rush, you immediately stand out, so why not just enjoy the moment and not worry too much about where you need to be. While being there, we ?have visited/visited? a couple of wonderful places, one of the them that I liked the most was the island of Spinalonga. It is an arid and barren rocky islet with an area of 8.5 hectares lying at the mouth of the natural port of Elounda in the Lasithi prefecture of Crete. Furthermore, we met plenty of marvelous people from all around the world that we still keep in touch with :) We also tried some extreme water activities and went swimming in the middle of ?the?Mediterranean Sea.
As I said above, I'm sure we will only find more things to enjoy about our time in Crete. It is a very special place, and people there always tell to ENJOY, so we have enjoyed/enjoyed it to the fullest and I am hoping to come back!

I don't like the fact that you plagiarised some part of the text:( Mind paragraphing and the use of tenses! 9

A couple of years back I traveled right near to the heart of Austria – Hallstatt. This was the first kind of vacation I took where we were more focused on exploration than leisure. Though after every hike my feet were killing me and I felt more tired than I had ever been up to that point, I felt like I discovered little parts of myself that I didn't know I possessed.

When I first ?stepped (can be used with ironical meaning)/set?foot on the lakeside village, I immediately felt overcome with the feeling of serenity. The water was still, there was still a light fog hanging in the air, which led to me taking the cleanest, freshest breath I have taken to date. The village itself is very compact and old, built around the 16th century. Hallstatt is built into a mountainside, so the buildings continuously elevate. There's not much people that live there, mostly tourists and elderly people. The way of life there is very laid back, it's the type of village where everyone seems to know everybody, even if it's your first time here.

Hallstatt isn't a place you go to with the intention of lounging in a lakeside spa (though you are at full liberty to do just that, It's not what I would recommend doing ?anyways?), the best way to explore it is to pot on a comfortable pair of shoes and just walk, which is exactly what we did. The result of which was three roughly 12-hour hikes up a 2 kilometer mountain. The paths seem never ending, but you really have no time to reflect on how tired you are. You are constantly met with miniature waterfalls, panoramas of the village below and even a secret cow sanctuary (not kidding, there were around 40 cows walking around freely near a lake in the middle of a mountain). One of the trips took place during pouring rain, which was a slightly frightening, yet unforgettable experience. Trust me, nothing makes you feel more alive (and dead) than when thunder strikes a couple of kilometers away from you.

The combination of breathtaking views, cozy buildings and sense of adventure burned this trip into my memory, I felt like I was watching a photograph reel the whole time.

The picture below is the view from my rooms balcony and let me tell you, I could never get bored of waking up to this.

Perfect work except for some punctuation mistakes. THANKS 10

I really enjoyed Essen in Germany - a small city in a big country. The Landscape there is similar to my own city Kaunas, but people there are different. They are vibrant. Also, buildings there are quite magnificent. Only one thing that was pretty disappointing is the weather. Three of seven days when I was there, it was raining.

I really liked attractions in that city - they were utterly awesome. I suggest everyone, who will be there, to try/trying these out, because I can't forget them. Also, there are some quite interesting museums, which you can visit if you were in Essen, because it really deserves attention. Another thing that I really enjoyed is shopping centres, because they are enormous and diverse to my city shoppings/shopping places.

So, these are the things that I liked the most and I would suggest tourists to visit/visit or visiting in that small city.

For over 4 years my dream country has been Japan and this summer I was finally able to go there myself. The second we got out the airplane you could feel that you’re in a different world, almost like from the future. The thing that really caught my eye is how polite the workers were : they bow down even to the bus drivers!

What I found extremely fascinating were the skyscrapers, especially near the Akihabara station, where they’re completely covered in advertisements. Personally, I would recommend going to the Tsukiji fish market at 5 a.m and seeing the tuna auction, and after that having a fresh seafood breakfast in a nearby restaurant.

Overall, I think anyone looking for a unique travel destination should come to Tokyo. The futuristic atmosphere mixed with traditional elements make it a place one of a kind.
Thanks great:) Total: 10

This summer I visited Europa-Park. What is it? It's the largest amusement park in all Europe, located in Germany near the French border. The park is divided into many sections which have their own roller coasters. For example, the United Kingdom's sections sells tea, biscuits and their ride has a water theme. The Russian coaster is very large and is sponsored by Gazprom. While you are waiting in line, there is a video talking about how greats Russia is and how you should buy their oil.

There is tons to do there. I basically skipped everything and only went on the rides, but is still took me the whole day. There are various plays and performances happening which you can certainly stop to look at. The main drawback is that the lines are very long and standing in them is boring and tedious.

To sum it up, I think you should visit Europa-Park if you like roller coasters and learning about European countries.

It’s a popular holiday resort not just among the swedes the Swedish but foreigners also. Rocky shores, beautiful nature, breathtaking landscapes and rich history are the things that draws tourists to this small island every year.

In summertime cosy and bright streets of Visby - Gotlands biggest city, is covered with thousands blooming red roses. You can choose to walk the streets and explore the ruins of the medieval city and meet the friendly locals, go bike riding along the shore or just lay by the beach and enjoy the sun. But a must, whenever you happen to be in Gotland, is go Fårö and visit the utterly overwhelming natural limestones that cover the whole rocky coastline. The rock filled cost with extraordinary shaped stones will really take your breath away.

Another memorable thing to see would be Medeltidsveckan (or medieval week). It’s a festival held in Visby every year where locals dress up as monks, knights , nobles and transform Visby into a medieval city.

When I have to think about a place I visited I remember my last trip to Northern Ireland. I've been ther two times already and I really enjoy it. When I came there first time, I noticed that the weather is different than in Lithuania. It's warmer! Everyone is wearing clothes that we choose to wear in late spring although it' winter in there. Another thing that I have noticed is how friendly are the locals. Everyone smiles and wants to say "hi" to you. Furthermore, the landscape is absolutely beautiful: green fields, mountains, cliffs, rouds that goes along Atlantic ocean.

One of the most spectacular things to see there is Giant's Causeway. Some people say that it is the Eight Miracle of the World. Another place that must be visited is Carrick-a-Rede-Rope bridge. It's 20 meters long rope bridge that you can cross. It might be scary, but the wiev from it rederms the fear.

In conclusion, I can say that Northern Ireland is perfect destination for those who want to see wild nature and the landscape that will take your breath.

Great cohesion and coherence, but paragraphing could be more balanced:) You should be more attentive with the spelling!

5th of July, 2014. My first and most memorable trip. Having an enthusiastic family equals travelling several times a year, however that usually means going to warm, exotic countries like Italy, Greece, Spain and so on. Thus the trip I'm about to present to you is of a different nature and has a special space in my mind.

The UK isn't famous for sunshine and friendly people, it's generally more often called gloomy, dirty and quite disfunctional socially. However, my first visit to London was a complete opposite. The second I stepped out of the plane, an instant spurt of bliss overflew me. It felt like the weather as well as the people were specifically designed for me. It felt like home. It was relatively warm and sunny, clouds nowhere to be seen. Every staff member, shop assistant and taxi driver we met along the way was polite and cheery. What first caught my eye were the buildings. Since the airport isn't in the city center, we had to take a 30 minute ride and while doing so I noticed that the architecture looked very "cosy", as if it's a world of its own. I'd definitely say that the beauty of central London is in the details.

What you obviously should check out while in London is the Big Ben, The Buckingham palace and walk the famous London Bridge. Since my trip to this astonishing city was over the weekend, I didn't partake in any excursions, on the other hand I don't think London is to be explored in excursions anyway. Its beauty is in the parks, architecture, monuments and the local people, however if I had to suggest, I'd probably say choosing excursions for museums would be interesting as well as benefitial. An interesting monument I visited was a navy memorial near the palace. It's a relatively big and boxy object of which every wall is covered in the names of deceased navy seals.

To sum up I think it's safe to say that visiting London can be quite two-sided. Of course you could see it as the stereotypical city that many people are so sick and tired of, however if you choose to try and look at it from a fresh view there is a lot to see and enjoy. The best way to travel in London is with a local friend if possible. And definitely watch "The Phantom of the Opera" while you're there, I promise you will have an eye-opening adventure.
Great fluency overall:) You have to finish to earn 10 and mind paragraphing!

About restourants, here is a selection of cuisines from different contries, and everyone can find a restaurant of their like or put something new in their personal menu.

To conclude, I can say that Oxford is an amazing city where you can discover a lot of new things and experience a lot of adventure.
Total: 10-

The weather is nice and there are a lot of landscapes to look at. The city is full of theatres; the one I liked the most is probably "Bolshoi" theatre, it's really fancy there, and besides, this is the place where the beautiful "Swan Lake" ballet was born.
If you've decided to visit Moscow, I'd recommend to bring a dictionary, because everything here is written in Cyrillic, even the tour leaflets!

This summer I visited a very beautiful city. It was Vienna. It was a very nice place. The landscape of Vienna was very different??? there was a lot of mountains, lakes, rivers. The weather was very nice for the whole week , it was very hot. The first thing i noticed in Vienna was the architecture of the buildings , they were beautiful and exclusive. I saw a lot of things there , but i think St. Stephens cathedral got stuck in my memories forever , because of the size and the architecture of it. When i walked inside the cathedral i was stunned , how beautiful it was. All the windows were from stained glass , the organs were decorated with a lot of gold , the pictures and sanctuary were amazing.
Vienna is a really old and beautiful city , it has a lot of historical places which you have to visit when you are here. All the beautiful buildings are in the city centre , such as St Stephens cathedral, Opera house , Belveder palace , Hafburg palace , museum of fine arts and so on. Vienna has a wonderful wundervasser house street block. I liked it so much , all the buildings are diffrent with its colors and forms. It reminds me of (is missing) Antonio Gaudis works in Barcelona. Vienna also has a lot of parks , so you can , sit there and relax or go for a walk with friends or just have fresh air.
To sum it up , ???think you should visit Vienna , if you wanna (???register)have good time , see a lot of interesting places , to meet , or see one of the greatest buildings of architecture in the whole europe.
Total: 9--

After a while I visited one, of the most amazing cities in Europe, and it's Barcelona. It was the first big travel in 3 years and one of the best. After an utterly exhausting flight, we stepped outside the airport and right away we felt the climate change. It was very hot outside and it was the middle of November, so in the train ear the temperature was about 0 degrees. You couldn't see the city because the landscape was very mountainous.
I traveled the Barcelona with my team, so the main activities were sports, and other fun participations??? in the tournament. The whole team win today inner city and it was completely what was expected from it. It's like the perfect tourist place, big old buildings, wide streets, many shopping malls. There are many magnificent old century churches which are really big and spectacular when you look up close.
My first impression all Barcelona was that it is bigger than I could imagine, but when you get to know it better you can get around really fast and in this city has much to offer for newcomers.
Total: 9-

Berlin is the capital of Germany and one of the biggest cities in the country. The weather in Germany isn't always sunny, but it is normal. When people come to Berlin, they can definitely see that it is a rich city.
If you ever visit Berlin, you must go to the dome of Germany's parliament building. It is free, but it requires registration. Also, you cannot miss the gates of Berlin and it's site. Berlin Cathedral and the building next to it, are magnificent. And don't forget to visit the TV tower. It is big!
In conclusion, I have to say that Berlin is a good choice for a vacation and everybody should visit it.

My trip to Nice, France. To start, I would like to say, that I have been to a lot of countries. I fell in love with many of them, so this place is one of those favourite countries. Starting with France, I Have only been to Paris and Nice, but immediately coming there I knew the reality would fit my expectations. So it definitely did. The thing I love about France in general- is it’s weather, it’s culture, and most importantly- it’s warm and welcoming people. They are the most hospitable and sweetest people I’ve ever seen in my intire 17 years of life! Every second they give you a good social climate and it’s very contagiuos. Let’s not forget the landscape- I adore the beaches they have. You can do everything there! Party, do jogging, find new people, new relations, read a book, rest, have a sunbath- totally everything. And whatever you’ll do- nobody cares what. Even if you go swimming naked- it’s your responsibility to have fun, not others. Nice definitely left a huge mark in my heart which I will not forget, and I’m grateful for this country and it’s people for letting me experience that!

While we were walking down the narrow cobbled street of Copenhagen we ran into a beautiful church. It's called the Frederik's Church, know more as The Marble Church or simply the church of Denmark. It looked stunning - beautiful tall walls, incredible stained glass windows and a beautifully decorated interior. The church was designed in 1740, and construction didn't end until 1894, but it was worth it. The church has the largest church dome in Europe, with the span of 31 meter, and it looks striking. The inspiration for this design was the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. When you enter the building you see gold plated words which read: "the word of the Lord endureth for ever", which looks dazzling. All in all I think everybody should go and see this beautiful baroque architecture building.
