Students need to consider their ultimate goals and consider the classes available to them and if they meet their minimum requirements for certain academic majors.
IBDP
Students who participate in the IBDP will graduate with a Convent or Stuart Hall Diploma, and sit for exams in May of their senior year to qualify for the globally recognized IB Diploma. All freshman and sophomore courses at Convent & Stuart Hall prepare students to elect into the IBDP. 

Our high school requirements guarantee students will meet university minimum requirements. Students will need to consider their future interests to determine which HL courses they should take. Majors such as Computer Science, Engineering and the Sciences will have certain IB courses they expect to see. 

Potentially prepared for AP test. There is more multiple-choice and emphasis on meeting certain content goals.
Students have more flexibility with AP courses as they choose different courses junior and senior year.

It is up to the college the student plans to matriculate to if this will impact their admission. Typically in the US a student's admission will not be revoked, but it could impact potential college credit and merit scholarships.
