One of Rachel's tips that I used and still use is to "read". It's a good way to increase your vocabulary. I keep watching several TV shows and that helps me understand more of what is being talked about and also with pronunciation. The tip that I liked the most about memorizing was, the repetition and the grouping. I think it's a good way to practice. An additional tip, I think it would be good to try to dialogue with another person and practice it.

One of the Rachel’s tips i use is listening and reading.
I love to watch movies, i always put subtitles and i start reading out loud and that helps me to understand the pronunciation and the meaning of the words depending on the context of the movie

1) One of Rachel's tips that I used is "read." When I watch American Drama, I hear words I don't understand. Whenever I listened to that, I printed the script and tried to find out what words I didn't understand.

2) One of Rachel's tips that I want to use this semester is finding the relative words. It will be an effective way to improve my vocabulary skills and memorize.

3) Imitating drama' script is an easy way to improve vocabulary skills.

1 - One of the tip I usually used for vocabulary is reading. Whenever I read something, I always look for new words and their spellings.
2- I will be trying to use the synonyms and acronyms tip. It's a great way to actually learn 3 words at a time with the complete understanding of the word.
3- the tip I used to follow more is to link a new word with any other word or thing or even any event. It's more like the Rachel's tip for memorization i.e. visualization.

1. A tip I have been using is to look for related words when reading. It always helps me to understand the meaning quickly.

2. The tip I will start using is practicing out loud and imitating new words' pronunciations.

3. A helpful tip is to try to learn 2 or 3 words every day. By using this tip, our vocabulary might increase faster than we imagine.

1. Watch Tv: I usually like to watch tv shows where I can practice my English. Tv Shows where people don't talk to fast and I can understand.
2. Think of a similar word: This tip is very useful because we can get more vocabulary. Sometimes, it's hard to remember any specific word, but if we know similar words it would be easy to replace them.
3. Try to learn a few words every day. maybe we can't see quickly results, but over time we would learn many words.

1. One of the types of Rachel that I follow is reading and what i dont understand I look for quickly to understand or else I look for examples.
2. One of the methods that I am going to try to use is to look for synonyms in order to expand my vocabulary.
3. Watch series or movies in english with subtitles so if you dont understand a word or it becomes difficult you can also read it and repeat how to say that word so it stays recorded in your vocabulary.

1.- Which of Rachel's tips have you used before?
I tried the second tip which is to watch tv and watch videos. I watched videos and movies with subtitles on, and when I saw a new word I just looked up the meaning and tried to repear it two o three times but I never wrote them down. Maybe I should try again in a better way to improve way.

2.- Which of Rachel's tips will you try this semester?
I will put into practice the firt tip, which is reading, actually at the moment I'm already putting it into practice in my Reading 1 class. At firt we read a book that was at my level, now I have to read a new book that has a higher level to be able to find new vocabulary and write them down with their meaning and some examples. I would need to look for realated words and; synonyms and antonyms to better understand a word.

3.- What additional tips or tricks can you share for increasing vocabulary?
I don't know any new tips I can give, but I think the second tip of watching TV or videos is a good idea because it is a complete way to learn by taking notes of the words and watching them while listening to how they are pronunced and used in conjuction with other words like in phrases.

Reading and watching TV are my favorite tips for increasing my vocabulary, also there is another tip that I use and it is talking with someone whose native language is English, so I can earn a new vocabulary from him. This semester I will try to take note because I think this tip it will help me a lot to memorize them.

1)Reading is the most common and effective way to improve my vocabulary, because whenever I see uncommon words, then I write them down in a notebook and find the meaning of them.

2) I will increase my vocabulary by watching Podcasts and TV shows because they really give a variety of new words, sentences and phrases, which ultimately helps me to enhance my vocabulary list.

3) Engaging in discussions with people who have a diverse vocabulary, as this can expose you to new words and phrases in context.

One of the Rachel's tips I use is basically watch TV shows and movies in english with subtitles, so there is some times where I see a word that I don't know, so I just use the translator and I can understand the meaning and also in the future be able to use it.

2.One of the Rachel's tips that I want to use this semester is read more, and i would say read more books because reading a book could give us a lot of new vocabulary.

3.A tip that I would recommend is to try to learn new words every day as much as you can, that will definitely benefit your vocabulary.

One of the tips I use is to learn the pronunciation. Whenever I am going to give a presentation, if I don't know how to pronounce the word, the first thing I do is listen to the word and repeat it until I can say it correctly.
I highly recommend it because it has helped this semester and the others.
