This is where I usually attend mass and I have been attending mass for my entire life. There have been two generations of priests since I can remember with the first pastor being Father Chris and the second, Father Tran. We invited Father Chris and Jennifer, who at the time was working to run the church and its school. When I think about this place, I think about my parents because they are very religious and invested in the church. When Father Tran became the new pastor, he laid off Jennifer. This sent her into a deep spiral as she couldn't find a job and started losing her grip on reality. Also, Father Tran couldn't do everything on his own like he thought he could and had a slow breakdown, having to go to a mental health place for priests. He has visited the church but still hasn't returned.

This is the FBI National Academy, where I had my FBI leadership program. It is a very competitive program with about 20 other applicants getting interviewed along with me and I got to be one of the only ones to go. It was the first time I had truly been separated from my parents; I had to fly alone for the first time and completely handle myself. When I think of this place, I think of my dad because he went through their large training program which I only got a taste of during my time there. During my time there, I developed skills to control my life better, and I think about those lessons regularly. We weren't allowed to bring our phones to the National Academy due to the confidentiality of some of the places we were allowed to see.

Somewhere around here, I went camping with my dad, some of his friends, and their children (a few years older than me). My dad and I bonded a lot on this trip and had fun sleeping in a tent on top of our truck since the attachments we added allowed for the tent to be very spacious. Unfortunately, a sandstorm hit at around 1 am one of the days we were out there and we had to go inside of the truck in the middle of the night to sleep. We had to leave after the sandstorm because our tent got filled with sand, making it impossible to sleep in it. Once we got home, it took so long to get all of the sand out of it. Overall, however, I had a good time and loved the experiences I got to have with my dad.

This is my grandparents' house where almost all of my family gatherings occur.

We usually hold family events for my mom's side of the family here because it is in between all of our houses and a place with many memories for my mom and her siblings. I don't get to see my dad's family very often because both of his parents died of cancer when he was young and he had to take care of himself for a while. This place makes me think of my mom's parents and how I'm lucky to have them as they are very kind and love all of their grandchildren equally. A story of this place is when my sister had just gotten her license, she drove to my grandma's house but when we arrived, she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brakes and made a large hole in the wall with the truck.
