The Orchestra students have 4 peaces of music to play during the concert, each peace is about 1 - 2 minutes long. The Orchestra students work on the music that they play at the concert for around 2 months then 4 days before the concert they addition for what chair they get in the concert. The additions don't last that long, you go in a room with one of the teachers play one or two parts of whatever peace they pick they write down your scores then during one of the practice meetings you'll find out your chair. Only 4th-8th grade do the concert in high school its different you don't do ''Strings in Concert'' anymore. The Strings in Concert happens every year, it's what some of the students look forward to. Ms. Garcia is the Wolakota teacher. She teaches in school hours , because she wants to get kids interested in the language. She is a teacher at north middle school. 

what does Wolakota teaches us?  It teaches us about the culture and history. You get to learn more about what happened back then. You get learn more about the language. Its makes you want to learn more about the Lakota language.

In class you learn how to pronounce Lakota words correctly. You could read about the Lakota stories. You learn about the culture and the way they did things back then. 

This a good class to take because it teaches you the culture , history and language. You learn more about where the Lakota people come from.
