When I was a child I used to think that all people in the world had the same customs and traditions, not even in Colombia we can find that. For example in La Guajira, there are native people, and they have a lot of customs that in the other cities of Colombia you  will never see, such as they live in Rancherias (little houses built with straw and sticks), they pay for food and women with goats. ¿Can you believe that? ... This is why you need to have an open mind and be prepared for the next trip. Even though traveling is one of the best experiences you can have in your life planning before your trip is the most important element to have a good experience. You need to consider four issues before a trip: Time, enough money, advice of other travelers and to have the willing to face new experiences.

According to an article published in Forbes at 2015, the people spend too much money shopping to feel good and keep up, to trying to visualize themself in a better “life”: buying car, smartphone, brand clothes, and so on. The essential point is not spending your money in this kind of things. In order to make an effort to fit in a materialist society, the real happiness is that you can fell and try new experiences like traveling, knowing different cultures and people or learning another language. In such books you can find itineraries already planned for certain days, making this an excellent tool to plan your trip.
