<title>The main problem, besides the moral one of killing a lot of people, was that soldiers are only supposed to kill other soldiers. Sometimes civilians get killed, they had collateral damage back then too, but the purpose of an attack is supposed to be to kill the enemy army or to damage the war machine. So it is okay to shoot at someone shooting at you, and it is okay to bomb a factory, even if some civilians get bombed by mistake, but it is not okay to randomly bomb civilians.</title>
