The Egyptian’s religion was very important to them. It was important to them because their beliefs determined how they lived. If they were at a high rank, such as a pharaoh, they believed that they were chosen to rule by a god. They thought this because the rank pharaoh controls most of the lower rank’s lifestyle. They would choose what the priests did to please the gods.

Our religion has similarities and differences to the religion back when Ancient Egypt was still standing as an empire. Our religion is similar because they believed that their gods planned out their entire life. Today, some religious people think that about the god. Our religion is different because Ancient Egypt had multiple gods. Pretty much one for everything important/traditional in their life. We only have one god that we believe in now.

I found this information interesting because they had so many different things that some people couldn’t even imagine. In the USA, we have a president. In Ancient Egypt, they had pharaohs and kings. They had slaves and farmers to make food for the entire population. In some areas, we do have those types of things, but now they are more rare to be noticed. Even the money system is different. The money system is upgraded to a whole new level than what they did.

I think the Grapes category that goes with the subject Ancient Egypt is Geography and Arts and Achievements. I think it falls into the geography category because the landscape and placing of Ancient Egypt is a very dry and deserted place. They would rely on the Nile River to get perfect soil for farming. I think it falls into Arts and Achievements because of their first language, hyroglyphics. They had pictures and symbols to represent their language.
