This series of webinars will present good practices from experienced beneficiaries in a short 45 mins session online. International, open to anyone.

The focus of the webinar series is to encourage organisations to use European Programmes for international projects, using sport as a tool.

The webinars will focus on specific project examples from Erasmus+ Youth Key Action 2 and on the European Solidarity Corps volunteering and local project opportunities.

Are you a youth worker using sports during your activities with young people? From small sporty activities to more? Do you work as a sports practitioner with young people and want to get more out of it? Then the Sport PRAXIS might be right up your alley!

The Sport PRAXIS training focuses on the framework of Social Sports to go beyond sports as a form of competition. You are invited to explore and practice how sports can be used as a tool for learning and reflection, to identify transferable competencies to other real-life situations, and to use it as a process for individual development, community building and/or societal impact. All of this takes place in non-formal settings with the young people you work with.

A second version of this training course to be run in France in Autumn 2025

Open for 25 people, from all European Programme countries, either practitioners from sports organisations and/or youth workers that use sport as a tool.

It aims to encourage connection, sharing of practice and learning from others, and to build partnerships for future cooperation; to create opportunities for organisations interested to develop projects focusing on sport as tool to support social inclusion; to provide opportunities for newcomers organisations to better understand the potentials of the Erasmus + and Sport Programmes to foster social/inclusive projects with different dimensions.

Connecting with SALTO Euromed and the potential of social sports.

Organised by SALTO Euromed in a Euromed country. YouSports supporting by providing expertise and resources for practices.

This project aims to improve:

• The understanding of different organisations' needs and interests

• Outreach to newcomers with information about grant funding opportunities

• Ways of explaining different E+ and ESC project formats

• How best to showcase previous example practices for inspiration

It will bring together a toolbox, showing how to reach more/different people through online webinars, surveys, promotion, working with third parties, open days, national seminars and conferences etc.

48 hour programme, lunch to lunch, including job shadowing.

Mini Study visit 1 took place in October '24 in Ireland.

Looking at using sport to reach disadvantaged youth. Hosted in Dublin, and co-designed withe Local Sport Partnerships. A chance to share and learn from others, and build connections for future cooperation and projects. Focus on the reflection and transfer of knowledge on return home.

Mini Study Visit 2 will be held in Finland, looking at working with municipalities.

Mini Study Visit 3 will be held in Germany, linking to federations and networks, how to use sport as a tool for inclusion, both for new members of sports clubs and for international projects.

This approach includes briefing them, and collaborating with a youth non-formal education trainer, to make links between sport (commitment, team work, resilience, confidence etc) and youth work / NFE.
