The country I am doing is Nicaragua. Nicaragua is located in Central America. People in Nicaragua speak Spanish, Indigenous languages and English. Nicaragua's population is 6.948 million people as of 2022. Nicaragua's flag consists of Blue and White stripes with a triangle in the middle. The triangle in the middle has mountains, water and a rainbow in it. Around the triangle it says " Republica de Nicaragua- America Central".

In Nicaragua human rights defenders are targets of death threats. The government closed 57 media outlets. 23 journalists fled the country and that brings the number of journalists that fled the country to 208. The main tradition in Nicaragua is called The Purest. It takes place during December 7-8. It's in honor of The Immaculate Virgin Mary. They also sing and give gifts to each other during this time. Nicaraguans have a wide list of traditions. They have a lot of parties and celebrations with lots of food and colorful decorations.

Something people could do in Nicaragua is visit the largest cathedral in Central America. A popular place to visit in Nicaragua is San Juan Del Sur. If I were to visit Nicaragua, I would probably want to visit the largest Cathedral because it seems cool to look at.

Some of the most popular foods in Nicaragua are Guirila, Gallo Pinto and Vaho.

Vaho is made of Beef, Cassava, Plantain and Banana Leaves. Guirila is made of Corn, Cornmeal, Mozzarella, Butter, Eggs and Milk. Galo Pinto is made of Rice, Black Beans, Bell Peppers, Onions, Garlic, Coriander, Vegetable oil and Lizano Sauce. Me personally I would never try any of these because im a picky eater.

Some of the most popular songs from Nicaragua are Orion by Elena Rose, No Funciona by Lincy, and I Can Wait Forever by Air supply. There are no artists I have heard of. A traditional dance in Nicaragua is Toro Huaco. To be honest I don't really like Nicaragua music because it isn't my type of music.

The most popular sport in Nicaragua is Baseball. The baseball teams in Nicaragua are the Indios del Bóer, the Tigres de Chinandega, the Leones de León, the Gigantes de Rivas, and Tren del Norte. Their best was 19th. Their logo is a blue baseball with Nicaragua in the middle.

The thing I liked most about Nicaragua is its culture and its architecture like statues and stuff like that. The dish I would probably try is Guirila because I love eating tortilla. I also like the color of Nicaragua's flag because of the colors and the little emblem in the middle. The dances and dresses are unique in such a way it is eye catching. It's nothing like living in the US because we barely have any custom holidays. The music is also different there than in the US.
