We were shown the importance of lesson planning and how we can make our lesson effective by having the certain elements in mind.
The part which I found the most interesting was "Bloom's Taxonomy" because once we know the level of our students then we can plan our lesson according to the cognitive level of our students, starting from lower to higher.
By planning the lesson according to the needs of our students and integrating the language skills in our plan we can make our lesson effective and more productive. I'm definitely going to do it.

I learnt many new things such as Zone of proximal development, scaffolding and modelling. I also learnt about the use of Bloom's taxonomy to design a lesson with it's all components objectives, introduction, presentation, practice, production and evaluation. Moreover, she has explained different learning styles and we modified our lesson by implying few styles in it.
The session by sir Umar was also very interactive and engaging. He discussed about lesson planning from a very different perspective specially designing objectives.

I was very excited for the day because we explored and discussed variety of educational websites where planning and teaching becomes more fun and language oriented. these websites help to achieve the tasks and objectives that I will setr for my lesson plan. the use of Multimedia has become an integral part of the lesson plan so far. The advantages, disadvantages and limitations of websites were also discussed. The presentation of Sir. Umer made the learning more effective on the topic "Making English Language Classes Learning Rich." The presentation carried so many new and unique ideas to apply in the class and make the learning more interactive and to provoke the students to think. It was the day full of innovative ideas. now I have a variety of digital tools to apply in my class.

Day 2
On second Day we came across different Tech tools which can be utilized for teaching English.
Both presenters shared different apps and their effective use. e.g
https://americanenglish.state.gov/
https://quizlet.com/
www.listen-and-write.com
breakingnewsenglish.com
Padlet.com
edpuzzle.com
https://www.englishtools.org/en
https://www.flowspeak.io/
Kahoot
Learning Chocolate
Wordsmyth
Lyrics Training
Jeopardy Labs
Flipgrid
NewsELA

Ma'am Eleni's discussion about pros and cons of each tool was quite fruitful as we learnt their effectiveness . She shared some of her experiences related to these tools and one of them was quite surprising for us was related to Flipgrid. While using Flipgrid we need to be careful since audio and video of students can be misused.
She proposed subscription of Microsoft Office for Access for using Wordsmyth as it can be used only if we access it through browser.
NewsELA serves the purpose of meeting needs of diversified learners since it accounts for different levels of reading. I would like to explore it in detail as it helps in determining level of complexity of learner's reading. While using it we can provide extended reading task for those who are quick and smart. It gives access to 4 articles per week.
Breakingnews is also quite helpful as it talks about the latest news and it gives us a detailed plan about the news with a number of activities. I think it can be used frequently.

With the help of students, we must design correction symbols list. It should be pasted in class so that the students are familiar with these correction indicators.
Once these errors are identified by the teacher, then remedial plan must be designed to prove weak areas of students' performance.

According to Dr. Eleni informal assessment of students performance must be done in such a way that their growth could be guaged. Try to provide students such opportunity of learning where they are able to create
connections.
Pinglish is now acceptable since the language is rapidly changing due to social media platforms.
