Summary: The palatir is very helpful to police when they are trying to find stolen cars or fine people. The palantir also seems like an invation of space because they shouldnt inade someones privacy.

Facts 1; It allows you to access the data instantly.

Facts 2: If you pass a palantir device thing and if you have a warrant or a fine they can and will find you because of a simple locator.

Facts 3: The police can scan tons of thousands of license plates each day or every time they pass by a car.

Opinions: I think this is a good idea because the accidents caused by teens may happen less if this kind of device is used more often by police. I don't fully agree with this kinda of thing but if it is going to save some lives i think i would diffidently give it a try.

FACTS: (3)

Palantir is a new tracking system that tracks every vehicle that passes by the tracking device. SOme people feel that this tracking system violates their civil rights to privacy. Other people are thankful to have this technology that is similar to having thirty detectives solving a crime to find suspects.

OPINION: (2)

It is my opinion that the benefits of tracking suspects outweighs the arguments against privacy violations. It makes sense to implement this device to make our cities safer.

Topic : Planatir- i think it is interesting because it scans every license plate that goes by the police car. The Planatir had decreased crime rates in L.A. . The Planatir can detect any crimes done by the owner of the car just by it driving past the car.

Facts: Palantir tracks every car that passes the scanner. Many people disagree with the system. If a car is stolen and it goes through the database any cop that passes the car will be alerted.

Opinion: Palantir can keep a city safer by tracking possible suspects. The way the system works seems cool.

The top story that caught my interest was the firefighting helicopters. There is a historic drought happening in northern California. The conditions are perfect for wildfires. A lot of hikers needed to be rescued. I think that it's cool that nature can make it's own fire but also very devastating. I also think it's weird that it hasnt rained in a long time.

a mid-west virus spreading -

Summary of the top news story i read was about how children are being sent to the hospital because of this respiratory virus. The hospital has seen 12% to 15% of children increase in hospital visits. They say it's getting pretty bad. they call this virus the Enterovirus.

Truthfully my opinion I think a lot of kids are getting sick. By the look of it it's becoming worse rather then better. I think the more kids don't wash there hands the more sick it could get.

There is a certain type of virus going around called an enterovirus. Usually it's not deadly, but there is a strain called D68 which is deadly especially to children with breathing problems. It causes normal symptoms but on a much higher scale, putting hundreds of kids in the hospital.

My opinion is that scientists and doctors should make an immunization for D68 and distribute it like they did for the Swine Flu. This would help kids build up an immune system, so that it doesn't affect them so much and it won't send kids to the hospital.

Of the 1.2 billion people who live in India, one quarter of them do not have basic resources such as electricity. These communities have survived for hundreds or even thousands of years without electricity, however with every technological advancement of our modern age, these people are left further behind. Green Peace is a humanitarian organization that is trying to bring electricity to some of these villages. A bank of solar panels was installed in the town of Dharnai. They are now energy independent are are enjoying for of the benefits of electricity that many of us take for granted. I think that "green energy" is tremendously important for all of but even more critical for impoverished communities. I hope that green peace is able to expand this program into other countries around the world.

What caught mt attention the most was how they had no electricity and how they managed to walk in the dark. In my opinion I think that it was very nice of the news to help them get electric. Another thing that caught my attention was the air plane can pick up to thousands and thousands of of water in under one minute! When I saw the video and saw that India had no electricity at all two questions popped up in my head, how do they do it? and how hard is it? It must of been very hard for them to walk around with little lights! And I'm sure that it was much easier for them when the news got them electric. Exciting day for them! Cause I'm pretty sure it was terrible for the children to do there homework in the dark with a very little light.

What I thought was interesting was how the secret service leader quit because of how someone was able to get into the white house . And he would have probably been able to hurt the president if he was there . She also had promised that it would never happen again . In my opinion I don't think it was her fault but I also think that she could have prevented it . I also didn't understand why she decided to quit . I wonder if she was ashamed because she felt like she let the president down

The resignation of the secret service leader caught my attention. Opinions- I find it surprising that a man with a weapon made it over the gate and into the white house. I find it surprising that the white house isn't very heavily protected. Facts- A man jumped the white house gate and ran the whole way inside the white house the man was carrying a knife but was tacked by secret service president Obama was not in the white house at the time. Pierson has been the leader of the secret service since march of 2013.

What caught my opinion was the part about the concussions.

Facts: Any player who get a concussion has a high chance of getting a second one. More padding is being used inside the helmets of football players to prevent concussions. Coaches are trying to teach players to prevent concussions as best as they can.

Opinions: Players need to learn all safety regulations. After having a concussion players should stop playing for a while.

What i thought was interesting was how the comparison between Netflix and Movie Theaters. I think that when you want to go see a movie and it is only in Movie Theaters. If you don't have the money i think you should just wait until it appears on Netflix because then you can watch it that way. I also think that when you should be able to watch movies in your house and not to go out to a movie theater. My opinions on this is that people should sit at their house and watch movies on Netflix instead of having to go out and spend a lot of money just to see a movie.

The secret service leader is quitting. She promised everyone that something like the incident in the white house will never happen again (The man running past security into the white house).The President was not in the white house where that accident occurred . My Opinion about all this is that i think they are purposely not protecting him because they don't want to. I don't think they like president Obama and that's why their not trying as hard to do their job.

Obama saying the economy is getting better. My opinion is that a whole bunch of bull because its not its getting worse. I think Obama should not get voted again. Employments getting worse. A lot of auto mechanics can't find jobs. A Lot of people are getting lower pay wages taxes getting sky high.

The CDC didn't Prepare hospitals and health care worker on how to treat Ebola patients. The CDC is Changed Their guidelines to 3 notable changes. Care givers will now receive rigorous training before treating an Ebola patient, Skin cannot show or be exposed .I Personally think we should have been known how to treat this and fight this but the doctors are acting/playing stupid. I Also think we should treat everyone one- on one-.
