You can clearly see it also in small thing, like all people use bike and they don't make pollution with the car because the most of the cars are electric. Also the population is very respectful of their own cities, like they don't throw thrash on the ground etc.
Also there are a lot of beautiful sustainable places, like Crusio.
Federico Iacona

Another thing that we noticed is that people never throw trash around the city and the streets are very clean. Amsterdam in a very walkable city so walking is an option instead of using cars: bikes and cars are also very good for your health! we also liked the tulips around the city.
made by Ariluna Verrazzo and Flavia Fasanaro

During the days I stayed in the in Netherlands I almost always moved by bike or on foot around the city. In fact, it is no coincidence that in the Netherlands there are more bikes than people and in some areas, even, the bike paths have priority over those cars, with signals. Without a doubt, the cities have been designed to comfortably accommodate cycling, so much so that in very large areas the traffic of vehicles is reduced and entry is only allowed to bicycles and pedestrians. I believe that the fact that the Netherlands is a very sustainable country can also be found in other areas, for example: they use a lot of hydropower (thanks to the many dams of the delta work), wind energy (the Dutch territory is dismayed by a large number of wind turbines), they care a lot about the separation of garbage

One of the mornings we spent at school, we dealt with one of the most delicate topics for the Netherlands: floodings due to the large presence of water in the territory. A few days later we went to visit one of the dams built to solve the problem. There we did several activities, among them the most beautiful was the simulation of a tornado. It was a really nice experience, I hope I can do it again.

We all know the use of bikes or buses is common in the Netherlands. But something I discovered when I went there is that there are really a lot of bikes, even more than the citizens, and there are some lanes only for bikers. But it isn't everything. In fact the Netherlands have improved the collection of plastic bottles with supermarket discounts and the use of solar panels. I've seen a lot of houses with solar panels on their roofs; families use them to create their own energy. The streets are clean and throwing litter on the ground is illegal. In fact there are a lot of bins to avoid this problem. Furthermore, this state boost the use of wind and water turbines to produce electricity. In addition to this, people living in villages like Bergen Op Zoom prefer buying things like flour, sugar or eggs produced in their neighbourhood. In fact, there are farms of chickens or sheep or some mills. It avoids the shopping in supermarkets and the transportation of goods.
Irene Kulathunga

The sea water and most of the drinking water is polluted. Even the earth is in danger. In some places, people bury or burn the garbage and it makes the ground acid and not suitable for cultivation. Moreover there are a lot of natural events because of air and water, like tornadoes and floods, that put the human in danger. An example is the flood of 1953: it caused the increase of the sea level and strong winds destroyed a lot of buildings.
Irene Kulathunga

We visited the Delta Park Neeltje Jans: a museum of the Delta works. There they displayed and explained every stage of the construction of a dyke and where they are.
