1. I liked it, the virtual reality was pretty cool, but it kind of made my eyes hurt a little after a long time staring through the goggles.
2. This relates to the theme because it shows how each of the parts is connected and woks together. The different parts of the brain work to send information to each other, while also being specialized in their own ways, each having their own function to control.
3. It was cool, but not amazingly helpful.

Overall, I thought this activity was very cool. I did feel a little bit nauseous and ended up just using the phone without the glasses. This connects to the unit theme of how the brain is both specialized and integrated because it visualized all of the parts of the brain and allowed us to see the complexity of the brain in 3D form.

Overall, it was nice to be able to see the parts of the brain we studied in a 3D form as opposed to a diagram on paper.
3) The activity helpful in visualizing the synapses and the electric signals that were sent between neurons. Although the camera was pretty zoomed in, seeing the small dots travel from the terminal branches to the dendrites.

The VR showed how the brain is all connected through the neuronal networks (especially through the nueron picture) and how different parts of the brain can potentially affect one another. Seeing the entire brain in 3D shows a perspective is a good way too see what we are learning in a different context

It helps add a good balance of visual and textual learning within the class.
2) the visualization showed how each part of the brain is connected, but then there are smaller parts of a whole that can be looked at more closley.
3) This helped me visualize the limbic system because it was able to zoom into a 3D module. The neuron forest that it showed was also very useful as a visualization because it allowed me to see the connections between neurons and how many there actually are.

I really enjoyed this whole experience. It was definitely a fun and interesting new way to learn more about something as complex as the human brain. This connects to the theme of the human brain being specialized and integrated because in virtual reality we were able to break up the brain into smaller sections that we could look at in more detail. This absolutely helped me with visualizing the brain. However, the whole part with the neuron forest threw me off. Maybe it would be better to start off with the Cerebral Cortex, and then move into the Limbic System, and then the Neuron Forest.
