After a few more simple questions, and the sound of the pen writing quickly on the paper, Maria dreaded what would come next. "So, you seem to be in good health," the doctor starts, "I don't want to keep you long. You just need one quick shot and you will be out of here." Maria cringed, she hated needles. The doctor left quick to go get the shots. With the room silent, Maria realized she was holding her breath. "You'll be fine." she tells herself, "Just one quick shot." The doctor returns quickly and stands next to her, ready to use the terrible needle. Maria closes her eyes tight as the doctor counts, "Three, two, one..."

Based on the way information is presented in this video, do you believe NBC contains some bias towards one side of the issue? Why or why not?
I think there was a little bias. They don't make any actual blame toward Amazon; they repeatedly say "allegedly". Although, they do lean toward the employee's side.

What motive could this publication company (NBC) have for publishing this story?
They want to spread awareness of the issue.

What information, if any, is left out or not addressed adequately?
Some quotations were very vague and didn't give a person who was speaking. There wasn't any context.

Choose one of the technologies mentioned in the article and discuss whether or not you think it is as "creepy" as the article suggests.
Deepfakes: I think it is kind of creepy, you can almost never tell the difference between people. It would change how opinions on social media are based due to it being a falsified person.
What do you think E.M. Forester would think about that technology? Why?

I think he would find it plausible. He has already predicted lots of modern technology; although, he would probably make it very creepy.

Based on the information described in the video, what moral dilemma do self-driving cars create?
Self-driving cars wouldn't have human instinct and would only go on data it possesses; there would be no empathy.
In your opinion, what type of "code" should self-driving cars have? (prioritize the driver's life, minimize damage, minimize harm to other drivers, etc.) Why?
People behind the wheel must prove that they are still vigilant- and ready to take control- even if not driving. This would still bring empathy and human instinct with the convenient no driving attributes.

All jobs within this industry would just go away. It would completely change how much of the world works.
What implications does this new technology have for farmers?
