         <title>One teaching, one observing/assisting</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Having two teachers in the room co-teaching can be beneficial by using the model where one teaches and the other observes or assists. For example, one teacher would address the class while the other observes the class for evidence of learning or they assist individuals as needed during instruction.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Co-teaching can be done with the use of stations or team teaching. In station teaching, the teacher would have their own subject area to teach while students rotated between the teachers. In team teaching, the teachers would still have their own subject area to teach within a lecture but they would do it together at the same time in front of the class.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teachers must have mutual respect for their co-teachers to make it work in the classroom. It is very helpful when teachers are on the same page because it helps increase the success rates of students learning a content area. Special education teachers should be seen as a co-teacher in a classroom to really make the environment work for the students with learning disabilities.</div>]]></description>
