1 - As a team member, I like to collaborate. I like to share without dominating the conversation. I think it is imperative to hear from all members of the team so I ask a quiet or silent member of the team about their ideas or suggestions.

2 - I might be seen as a pain because I try to keep the main thing the main thing without getting too off task when the group wants to divert.
3 - To work best as a team, I need collaboration and open communication.

As a team member, I used to be more reserved and quiet; however, as I've grown I try to be as involved as I can so there is no impression that I'm simply not doing anything. I want to contribute, as I can and there have been times in the past that other personalities are more dominant so I just sit back. When I am involved, I try to not be dominant but I try to be decisive when things seem to be wishy washy.
I honestly do not know if I'm seen as a pain, in regards to teams related to education. As for work teams, I do not believe I'm seen as a pain because I typically leave the assertiveness to my boss as he is more passionate about things that I simply do not feel is worth the efforts at times.
In order to do my best work, I just prefer feedback if I'm in the wrong and just overall open communication where it is understood that we all have the same goal and nothing is personal.

1. I am an organizer. I like to listen/participate, then organize the information shared in the meeting. I typically take the collaborative approach. Even in meetings where I am supposed to lead, I would rather the participants steer the direction, while my role is to provide guide-rails. Having take aways from a meeting helps me feel like that time was well spent.

2. I think respect, trust and open communication are vital for a successful team. When you have those 3 things in place communication, feedback and collaboration come more naturally.

- I personally do not like being the leader, but sometimes I have no choice. Meaning, I like to do things ahead of time and not everybody does, so I usually am the one paying attention to dates and details.

- I do not like when I see a group member slacking or not dedicating to the project. I sometimes have to be the one doing the talk about "we have due dates", "we have to share the work equally".

- I am very flexible and patient, I really enjoy helping group members when necessary.
