Clem Tholet was a folksinger in the 1960's and 1970's.  Clem Tholet was born in 1948 in Salisbury. He began writing songs in South Africa. Vagabond Gun was one of his firsts songs. With Vagabond Gun he won the South Africa music festival in 1996. He wrote many other songs such as The Cold Side, Mirror of my mind and Hey, Hey Jerome. Ngoma actually means drums. So you actually say Drums Drums. The drums originally come from Congo but are mostly used in Zimbabawe.  The Ngoma drums sound like really heavy drums with an extra aspect turned into it. It is a really warm sound.
Most of the Ngoma Drums are made off African heart wood to create the sound. The Ngoma drums can be used ass the bass but it can also be used as the melody.
