We are trying to align our programs with the foundations, css, and capabilities. It’s really hard! Are there any words of wisdom how to do this? Does every program fall into a foundation area and capability?

what ways I can present education and to whom rather than an educational setting with a powerpoint or board, game etc. I would like to cover more topics with less energy. ie. information on our agency telepromters, etc.

I am a newly funded position that is paid out through Foundational but because of the 75% match, I often get FTEs within other grants. I'd love to understand my role more as to my expectations under this grant. For example Maternal, Family & Child Health, that is mainly covered through WIC and FHV so I don't have a lot to do in that area. Do I need to dabble in each area/category and are those my responsibilities? So many of the responsibilities are being "done" by staff in other areas of our public health department. What is my role in all of them? And do I need to have a role? Sorry so long!!!

Currently, about 60-70% of our work is community-specific. How much should we expect to be foundational? How do we know if we are allocating enough to foundational? - particularly in areas like Maternal and Child Health where most is FHV, which is community-specific.

Best practices across the board - what is the intent of FPHR funding? To fund new/expand programs or decrease tax levy for programs that were already funded under tax levy (like communications & environmental health) that fall within FPHR capabilities/areas?

How are LHDs/CHBs with home care agencies and/or long-term care/senior services (EW/AC waiver programs) incorporating FPHR into those areas? Or is FPHR only being spent in the family/community health areas?

Does anyone use your CHA/CHIP or strategic plan to inform your FPHR work? How do you make decisions about where the funding gets spent? Are those decisions driven by data and if so, what data have you used?
