Reached out to organizations to help provide clothing for the children. Didn’t ask the parent first, just had the clothing available if she wanted it. This was a more comfortable way for the mom to receive support.

Recalled a time when one of the families had lost their jobs and one of the children was depending on the meals provided in daycare. Instead of asking any questions, she began to hand out snacks for all children to take home with them at the end of the day.
