We both fought through injury to reach a goal. We both used positive thoughts to get through hard times. Jonas and I are different as well, He had a lot harder task and was very brave. All I did was fight through a injury.

It was in my opinion his most painful memory becuase his body didn’t know how to react to pain.

Ive won many basketball tournaments but this was the hardest because I had hurt my knee really badly the game before. I was struggling getting up and down the floor but I knew I needed to keep going for my team. 

In the final game, We were down by 2 points with 10 seconds to go and I had the ball. I knew I needed to shoot a 3 pointer to win. I lined up to shoot and jumped up with my same knee that was killing me the whole game. I fought through the pain and made the shot. We won the game and I celabrated with my team.

It all started when I was with my friends at a football game. I was really excited because it was Friday and on Saturday I was going to a KU game. That night I got home really tired and I felt a little weird. I didn’t think much about it and got in bed and tried to sleep. This is when I realized I couldn’t move from my bed. Then I realized I was burning up. My mom took my temperature and it was 105. I suffered the next few days with no break from the fever. I had a really bad attitude in it because I had so many fun things planned that week. That's when one day I decided even if I am sick I can at least try to do something about it. With a positive attitude, I realized not only was I feeling better but my fever was going away!
