         <description><![CDATA[<p>MOUTH:  Beginning of physical and chemical digestion. </p><p><br></p><p>STOMACH:  Organ in which a large part of protein digestion takes place with the help of an enzyme called pepsin (Fowler et al.,2023).</p><p><br></p><p>SMALL INTESTINE:  Part of the digestion where further breakdown of food is assisted by accessory organs such as the pancreas, which is part of the endocrine system ( Fowler et al.,2023). </p>]]></description>

Innate Immunity launches a generalized defense not specific to a particular pathogen and consists of physical barriers, cells such as macrophages, and proteins that recognize and destroy threats (Fowler et al.,2023). </p><p><br/></p><p>ADAPTIVE IMMUNITY:  More specific to a pathogen and can not be mobilized without information from the innate immune deficiency; it also gives the host long-term protection with immune memory (Fowler et al.,2023).</p><p><br/></p><p>LYMPHOCYTES:  White blood cells that can be T or B cells created in bone marrow. Lymphocytes can travel in the circulatory system as well as the lymphatic system (Fowler et al.,2023). </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
