They nearly messed up the procedure and cause Ender to have a seizure; he could have died. When he went back to class, he was disoriented.

I don't really know if this can be counted as a "song" , but basically it kind of remind me of when ender is going to the Battle School and I mean the title of the "song" pretty much sums it up. The lyrics also kind of correspond to like a sort of "battle theme".  "Boots tied up tight, I hope I don't get in a fight"  well I mean it's kind of ike a similair opposite situation.

The song you got a friend in me reminds me of when ender joined battle school. Ender didn't have friends and he was bullied. This song goes with chapter 5 because ender starts to make friends with the kids that Bernard bullied. "you've got a friend in me, you've got a friend in me if you've got problems I've got them too,". They were friends and their problem as Bernard.

In the scene D-i-n-k is talking about how the school is just watching your every move to find out if you're good enough or not. It's all about winning and competition. I think when Ender was telling himself this he was wondering what would happen in to future because he had already broken someone's arm and he hadn't even gotten to the school yet. Ender enters the game and he hops through the gate and launches off the bars freezing several people before getting frozen himself. He was nervous at first but he started to throw himself in with confidence. I chose the song because of the fact that Ender seemed to be having a heck of a time, and he was doing incredibly well with the odds against him.
2. When ender saw Peter's face in the mirror in his game
He was going through the levels while going through the path that made sure he would be successful, but most of it included "harming" the creatures in the game.

I chose demons because when he imagines a memory of Peter, he feels like he can see a little bit of peter inside of himself. The song details how there is an inner part of themselves that they do not enjoy but they wish to conceal it.

Chapter 5 page 17                           When in this scene it reminds me of the halo theme song when they are going against each other. What I got from the scene they both have a variety of weapons just like Halo.  When they were battling each other I felt an intensity for Ender since it was his first time playing. Like in the book Halo is pretty intense to play depending on what difficulty.  In the book it said Ender was having a rough time the first 2 and that reminded me of  how Halo can be difficult at first.

To me its not the lyrics of the song itself but the meaning. For me it's like Ender rick rolled Bernard into thinking he was weak. In reality Ender probably has the best chance of succeeding out all those kids. To me rick roll just means you bamboozled someone and I feel like looking at Ender at the first glance you can definitely see he shouldn't be the kid with the best chance. Ender describes how angry Peter gets and that he says very mean things to him. The song "idontwannabeyouanymore" by Billie EIlish reminds me of this scene because a few of the lyrics say "I just wish you could feel what you say" or "Show, never tell, but I know you too well. Got a mood that you wish you could sell" Peter hardly acts like that in front of everyone which is why I think that the "show never tell" lyrics fits well. Although the song generally means how a person feels about oneself, I think it also fits well with this situation.
