President Donald Trump’s has had a lot of accusations of sexual harassment during his campaign for presidency. He was even recorded talking about about women as if they were objects that could be manipulated by grabbing them by their private parts. This kind of behavior creates an environment where it is acceptable to oppress women. Donald Trump is dehumanizing women. He is taking away their right. Trump is keeping women under his leash. He doesn't want women to have an abortion. Trump has said he is’t pushing for equal pay, birth control will be harder to get, he as well isn't pushing to stop sexual assault. If Trump is taking away things, and not pushing to decrease women's oppression. This connects back to my theory because women are being oppressed by the actions Trump is taking towards women. Women have suffered through oppression in wars and women experience a lot of sexual violence for example in a article titled "Women suffer disproportionately during and after war, security council told during day-long debate on women, peace and security" states "Some speakers drew attention to the sexual violence against women during conflicts and in post-conflict and crisis situation." Children and women are most affected by armed conflict. They are being trafficked, caught in genocide, war crimes, and sexual offence. It states "Council called on all parties to armed conflict to protect women and girls from gender-based violence." This means that the council wants to protect women and girls from all the armed conflict that happened in war.  This connects back to my social theory because, women are being affected by war. Women aren't free until they stop being hurt by wars, and people these crisis situations don’t stop.

There are many statistics on how many are treated very negatively. Over 22 million women in the United States have been raped in their lifetime. Of the 18.3% of women who have survived rape or attempted rape, 12.3% were younger than age 12 when they were first raped, and 29.9% were between the ages of 11 and 17.This means that young girls in our world are being sexually assaulted, hurt, and oppressed. Those statistics are the on,y ones that are reported. Now imagine all the women who don't make reports because they are scared. Women are trapped and oppressed by other people. This connects back to my theory because these statistics show that women are being controlled by what others do to them. Social Theory 
We had too construct a social theory that reflected how we believed society worked. We had assignments we needed to do before even starting to make our social theory. I've learned many things throughout doing this project. Some things that I learned was that women are most effected in war as well as children. Something else i leaned was that 12.3% were younger than age 12 when they were first raped.
