Exekiel- was a priest who was among the Jewish captives.

God called him in a a series of dramatic events,including a vision, word form God and a divine commission.

He spoke to the people who God Because he spoke to a people whom God had exiled due to their continued rebellion against Him, a majority of Ezekiel's message communicates judgment for sins committed. However, like all the prophets, he also provided his people, now without a land of their own, some hope for the future

This prophet can help us learn how to talk responsibly, seek forgiveness and have trust in a God,alone with hope and to have faith that God can help in any situation

Jeremiah is a prophet in Judah’s final years.Jeremiah was born into a priestly family in Anaoth.God called him through a direct contact.He had been chosen before birth to be the prophet of the nations.God used Jeremiah to warn Judah of its soon to be doom. Due to destruction and to sin , calling the people to repent.Jeremiah delivers the message through the promises of God.We can learn the importance of obedience to his even in hardship and rejection. He teaches us to trust God’s plan to remain hopeful

Isaiah was called to be the prophet of the news of the upcoming judgment day and Jesus coming. Jesus would come to take away our sin. Isaiah offered to be the messenger for the warning when God asked for someone to share the news. Isaiah was the 8th century Israelite prophet, son of Amos. We can learn that god takes away our sin, unconditionally and fully, God gives us strength for service and we are redeemed by Jesus.

Growing up in Gath-Hepher, Jonah was a Jewish prophet from the 8th Century who chose not to believe in the word of God. He rebelled against God’s call, but God called him a second time due to the urgency. He told him “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it; for their wickedness has come up before Me”. Jonah finally took his word the second time, and was called to go to Nineveh to give them a chance to turn to God for their wickedness was overpowering the city. This teaches us that you can’t hide from God, it’s never too late to turn back, you can’t rush God, and God’s love can change people. We would like to know more about his background story.

Sierra - Elijah

elijah was born in tishbe gilead and has been casted an outsider due to being born near the jordan river.

God called elijah by him by confronting the king of ahab about a forthcoming drought.

Elijah’s story is that god and elijah are powerful prophets to call israel back to worshipping the true god during a time where people didn’t believe in the religion especially under the king ahab, elijah also preformed miracles such as bringing fire down from heaven.
