The purpose of this digital story is to share Mount Lemmon’s hidden history and show how a place can carry many meanings over time. Before when I was making this project I had heard about this place and want to make this project, While I was making this project I already know where the place are and it was a jail back in time, So I did a lot of research about the place and the people that connect to the place, and I find little history, My audience is people who live in Tucson and Southern Arizona, especially young students and visitors that want to know the history of Mt.Lemmon. This digital story is also for my family. The feeling I had to this assignment is that I am very happy that I can tell people the story of Mt.Lemmon, And just like introducing a Friend to people, And a lot of feelings in this story.

I chose this artifact "Borderlands Annotation Matrix" It gives me a lot of though in my life, Not just the life I am focusing right now, Sometimes makes me wonder and think about a lot of the rule and about the child that was in the book, It's a heartbroken book to read and sometimes I like to put myself in to the story and so when I was reading this book the feeling of voiceless and helpless was very strong, most of the child have no support and only thing that they are seeing is the judgement and where they belong, It somehow connect it with me because sometimes I was also facing judgment and where I belong and the story like this is very powerful for me, And made me think about my text and my hometown and where am I from and to reflect and do better on the writing

A reflexivity statement is about how I feel about myself, Where we look back and understand our feelings, That includes a lot emotion and feeling I had on myself, And to let reader know about me through writing, The location that I pin is my city and the area that I remember where I live, I want to choose this place it's because that I feel that there is where I belong, I remember all the store and all the people that was in there, The air, The sky and the environment, When I was creating my statement, I oftenly wrote about how I feel and what I experience in my life, And I kind of start whenever even if it doesn't make sense but after the first draft I oftenly read over and over, And to add or delete some of the things I did. I usually just write when I feel, And stop when I can’t think of another word.My writing is oftenly very bad, And sometimes hard to understand. For that I want to express myself more straightforwardly and sometimes that is bad. I want to make the assignment understandable and more than just that so I get mad sometimes.

Hostile Terrain 94 is a portfolio project created to help people understand what is happening at the border and how many lives have been lost. I think its purpose is to help us remember those people with peace and care. The author chose to write about this because so many people cross the border and never find belonging—or even survive. This artifact helped me understand why we have a course like this at the University of Arizona: to raise awareness, to care, and to honor stories like these.

This project made me realize that even if we don’t always understand someone’s pain, we can still do our best to care. It reminded me that what some people think is “not important” might actually be very important. The people who created this course understood that—and now I do too.

For this course, I’ve started learning where to look for my own sense of belonging. And sometimes, it’s okay not to feel like you fully belong in the place you are right now. That doesn’t mean you don’t belong anywhere—it just means you’re still finding your place.
