Hello! My name is Rennah Tuttle. I am from a small town in Texas called Weatherford. I am currently a student at the University of Arkansas, and I am majoring in elementary education to follow my dream of becoming a teacher. In my free time, I love to hang out with friends, go on walks, get sweet treats, and go shopping.

Before I came to college, I cheered all four years of high school. I did both competitions and game day cheer. I also had the opportunity to be a teacher intern for two years, which really led me down the right career path. I interned in a first-grade classroom and absolutely fell in love with it! Just being there and showing up could brighten a child's day, and I loved being able to help out. I got to walk around and assist, work with small groups, and even do small lessons. I became really close with the kids and gained valuable experience seeing different teaching styles that I know I'll carry into my own future classroom.

I have many goals for my future classroom and a variety of teaching methods I want to use. When I was in school, I often felt frustrated because of my learning disabilities. I struggle with ADD and dyslexia, so school has always been a very different challenge for me compared to many other students. That experience is one of the biggest reasons I want to become a teacher. I want to support students who may feel the same way I did and show them that their challenges don't define them. In my classroom, I plan to use strategies like giving students extra time on assignments, including hands-on activities, and using visual aids to make learning more accessible. I also want to create an environment where every student feels safe, welcome, and included. My goal is for each student to feel seen, heard, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
