Notes:Bay parkway has a lot of cars with most of them parked and others active. Bay Parkway is an active street with approximately 5000 cars on it every day. Nearby buildings are mostly residential consisting of apartments and houses. Bay Parkway lacks Factories since it’s only residential. There’s a decent amount of shrubs and trees planted by the city and people which absorb CO2 but also release insect fragments and pollen. The only waterway that’s near Bay Parkway is the North Atlantic Ocean and it’s contaminated by sewage overflows and litter. Air conditioning and heaters are often found in homes on Bay Parkway which contributes to a slight amount of CO2.

Air conditioners (domestic appliance) help contribute to the worsening of air quality in my neighborhood. Almost all the houses in my neighborhood have ACs but also heaters. This is because over time when ACs are frequently used, bacteria and dust are collected inside. When we turn them on, the dust is released in the atmosphere/environment. (Isabela Morales)
