3. Rationale for choosing to create this online knowledge/learning resource
The rationale behind our choice to investigate digital tools used in teaching and learning in higher education comes from the importance of staying current, and benefit from the digital revolution and its impact on the way people receive and search for information. The fundamental of what it takes for students to learn and acquire new knowledge have not changed, however the way students learn has changed. Pedagogy, the way we structure learning and adopt in designing teaching and learning activity, is leading the new digital technologies and tools as an approach to disseminate knowledge.
There are many curate tools available, however, we chose 3 that are easy to use, free and have clear instructions of how to use for collaborative work. Those three are presented in Padlet, which we thought was the clearest way to demonstrate the collaboration.

We used mainly: google doc., google hangouts, google calendar,doodle and google spread sheets.
