Division is the basic building block to advance into math as it is for addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Division is the most difficult for 3rd graders to understand if they don't know their multiplication basic facts. In this video, it explains how division is used in the real world by using money. Decimals to be specific. This is more for 4th and 5th graders but please watch this video so your child can be ahead a little bit.
