We can encourage our colleagues to embrace new ways of teaching and learning mathematics.
Leaders are risk-takers. We can encourage risk-taking in our students by modelling a growth mindset, and encouraging them to embrace their mistakes.

Does working with the same peers every time help our students grow? Different skills and interests mean that students need a variety of peer groups. Flexible groupings allow teachers to meet the needs of their students. Depending on the topic or subject matter, different partnerships and groups may be more beneficial. Students' strengths and needs are taken into account.
