A short story about man going against his biggest career challenge, pressure of being watched by scouts. This is a story that is an example of a literary window, and it shows as you have a internal look at Tommy Vollman, who comes to turns with his in ability to bat against a seemingly superior pitcher. Even though Tommy feels like he is outclassed he can't help but to still try to give it his best and go down swinging.

This is a story about a kid trying to find himself in high school. He's labeled as the weird kid and has a hard time relating to anyone. He eventually is able to relate to his teacher and forms bond with him. This is type of literary window. We are able to see inside the mind of the main character and we get a look at who he is. We can see things from his perspective and understand why he thinks the way he does.

High school trying grounds is a poetic piece intended on sharing the experience of the average high school student. Narrated by Malcom London he speaks about the repeated routine that all high school student undergo. This is a literary mirror. It allow for the reader to reflect on their own personal high school experience.

A sacred tradition amongst the Mexican community, this is a special time for a young woman who is transitioning to womanhood. This literary mirror gives us a chance to peer into the mind of a young woman who is experiencing this. It shows us that experience is new in many ways but not entirely glamorous. The day of celebration is looked forward to but afterwards, reality strikes and the young woman now knows and understand that she is left to carry her own weight.

Early 1950's Chicago was a difficult time for black families. The story "A Raisin in the Sun" depicts life for a struggling black family trying to make their way. In my opinion this is a literary mirror that reflects the struggle that we all face at one point in our lives. There comes a point when all characters reach their breaking point exploding, then taking the time to look toward each other to be uplifted. Family of hard workers reflect that values and morals I share with my family. The story reaches a climatic point when Walter finds out the money he invested into his business is gone. But the ending more than makes up for it when the whole family finally moves themselves out of their small apartment and into a home.

Arguably one of the most recognizable franchises that have ever existed. It has a cult following that has even spread to it own religion. I choose this book from the the entire franchise because it unique writing that branches away from the normal style and plot of Star Wars saga and represent a literary window. This story is about an experimental weapon that was released onto a ship of storm troopers. Made to look like an accident it boast a dark mysterious theme that is rarely seen in this franchise. Death Troopers take the reader into a mysterious world and ends with the reader wondering if the next ship that comes across the plague can survive.

This was my favorite piece from this semester. I enjoyed reading Kevin Wilson's story and learning about his high school experience. I enjoy reading about other people's experience and the stories that they share. It interesting when people are able to share about something they struggled with and seeing them go through that experience.
