He is falling towards his death with no one to help him
I think that he had no other options left otherwise he would not have fell to his death. He might have thought that he had no other options as he was trapped therefore he decided to have a peaceful and quick way to die instead of having a painful death.
I wonder what he might have been thinking when he was falling from the building. Was he thinking about his family members that he would never see again and the consequences of his death. Or was he thinking about what would happen after he died. He would finally be able to know what happens after a person dies.
